The author examines a theoretical framework for assessing strategic alignment maturity by using a survey data of Japanese small and medium companies. The relationship between strategic alignment maturity and the mutual understanding of business and IT objectives between business and IT executives is analyzed.

Methodology: The methodology of this study is quantitative. Three hundred fifty-four (354) Japanese firm-level data collected have beenanalyzed using structural equation modeling.

Main Findings:The results show that factors associated with IT-Business Alignment Maturityof Japanese SMEs are statistically significantly positively related to organizational performance. However, those are statistically significantly negatively related to Short-term Linkage.Although the linkage of information system plans with organizational objectives (business plans) are positively related, this study implies that the linkage of information systems and each factor of IT–Business Alignment Maturity is rather weakas previous empirical literature suggested.

Applications:This study can be applied to the firm-level analyses where IT-Business Alignment Maturity and Short-term Linkage are in issue.

Novelty/Originality:The author examines the relationship between strategic alignment maturity and organizational performance by using a survey data of Japanese small and medium companies.
Michiko Miyamoto ##submission.copyrightStatement## Thu, 10 May 2018 00:00:00 +0000 THE FINANCIALIZATION PROCESS AND ITS EFFECTS ON THE MEXICAN PRODUCTIVE SECTOR (1990-2016)
The process of economic financialization is defined as a stage of the capitalist system in which the profits obtained through financial channels acquire a growing importance, regarding to those related to production and distribution. The effects of this process are not limited to the financial sector, they also impact the productive one, at a macro and micro-economic level. In this sense, the Mexican Financial System (SFM) has gone through reforms arising from the adoption of a neoliberal growth model; according to which that financial liberalization contributes to the strengthening of both the financial and productive sector, creating a positive relationship among them.

With the objective of evaluating, if this has materialized in the case of the Mexican economy,in this work is carried out; on one hand, a descriptive statistical analysis on the evolution of the financing granted to the productive sector; and on the other hand, an econometric analysis through a panel data model, relating to the plant investment; to identify the effects of such process, in the levels of productive reinvestment. That is, through the analysis of the two main links between the sectors involved, the implied risks of the process of financialization are showed, for a developing economy as the Mexican.
Javier Lapa ##submission.copyrightStatement## Fri, 08 Jun 2018 00:00:00 +0000 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT WITH TEACHERS' CREATIVITY
Purpose: The present study aimed at investigating the relationship between knowledge management and psychological empowering with teachers' creativity in a descriptive correlational method in Isfahan in 2015.

Methodology: The statistical population included all teachers teaching at a 1st grade of boyish high schools of Isfahan city (774 teachers) out of which 256 persons were chosen through multi-steps accidental sampling using Corcoran method.
